Aarav

Four-Year Gold Tier | University of Oxford

Insight: Aarav didn’t attend an elite school. What he had, though, was an obsession with classical literature, a passion for ethics, and the rare ability to hold his own in intellectual debate forums. We saw a future Oxford PPE student the moment we met him.

Strategy & Execution

Socratic Development

Weekly 90-minute Zoom salons (led by a retired Oxford tutor) on ethics, game theory, and EU politics; each session ended with a written “mini-essay” we critiqued for concision and logic.

Essay Framing

Mapped PPE course modules to his debate wins, then wove an “ideas into action” arc—showing how academic inquiry led to community policy workshops he organised locally.

Passion Project

Helped Aarav recruit an editorial board across four continents, set up a Substack, and grow to 2 k+ subscribers via LinkedIn thought-pieces and targeted Model UN mailing lists.

UK Prep

Brought in two PPE alumni for mock tutorials; drilled him on “moral luck,” welfare economics, and fast “why this tutor/college” responses; provided a 12-page feedback dossier.

Dr Mira P (Parent)

“EduAvenues turned Aarav’s curiosity into a cohesive Oxford-ready narrative. We felt part of a true mentorship, not a transaction.”
