About EduAvenues

Admissions doesn't have to feel like this.

EduAvenues replaces admissions noise with one clear plan, built around your student and guided by people who have actually navigated the same competitive paths.

We've been where you are

Admissions has become an industry of contradictions. Every source says something different. One says start early. Another says don't stress. It's all about the test scores, until someone tells you it's really the extracurriculars. Be well-rounded, unless you should specialize. The school says everything is fine. Every other signal says you're already behind.

And the hardest part: the families doing the most research are often the ones who feel the least certain. They've put in the work. They've had the conversations. But the more they learn, the less clear the path becomes. They don't know what they don't know.

What those families need isn't more information. It's someone who can look at their kid's specific situation and say: here's the plan, here's why, here's what to focus on right now.

That's what we do.

“The strongest acceptances don't go to the most prepped students. They go to the most prepared ones. Admissions committees can always tell the difference.”

Every advisor on our team has navigated the exact process your kid is preparing for. TJ alumni teach TJ prep. Med students with top MCATs advise pre-med. Goldman and McKinsey alumni coach careers. We didn't study admissions. We lived it.

We founded this company because a friend called with the same problem you have right now. She'd done everything right and still felt lost. I attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, then ranked the #1 high school in the country, I graduated from University of Virginia McIntire, the #2 undergraduate business program in the U.S., broke into private equity, and was working at Goldman Sachs. I've been navigating competitive admissions my entire life. So I built her a plan. Then her friend called. Then another.

I left finance and built this.

My co-founder Vishnu Murthy and I had been wrestling with this problem since we were students ourselves. We'd guided over 300 families before EduAvenues even had a name. Vishnu passed away unexpectedly, but the standard he set still drives everything we do: do it right, or don't do it at all.

Today our team hails from TJ, Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, Columbia, and UVA. They've sat in the same classrooms and navigated the same decisions your kid is facing now.

Why Families Choose Us

What most families experience

Five sources. Five different answers. The more you research, the less clear the path becomes.

What our families experience

One advisor. One plan. Built around your kid. The noise stops.

What most families experience

Every program treats your kid like a number. Same curriculum, same advice, same playbook for everyone.

What our families experience

We build the plan around your student: their strengths, their goals, their timeline.

What most families experience

Your advisor either went through this decades ago or sat on the evaluating side. They know what gets in, not how to build the student who gets there.

What our families experience

Our advisors recently navigated the same schools, tests, and decisions your kid is facing. They know the how, not just the what.

What most families experience

Every other family seems to have a playbook you were never given. You can't tell if you're on track or already behind.

What our families experience

We map the full journey from day one. No gaps. No guessing.
